This is the final piece I created inspired by umbrellas. The whole dress is made from umbrella material and I plan to create jewellery using the umbrella frames. The skirt of the dress has been cut into circles to create interesting patterns and then I was able to use the circles that were cut out on the bodice.
Just came in from the rain to find this post, coincidence much. I really love the colours on this and think its amazing you managed to find that many different coloured umbrellas and use them so interestingly. Although the bottom section does resemble an umbrella, I find it very cool that you haven't just stuck umbrellas onto a dress and taken the time to do something unique and really original.
